Why is someone always "cheating"?

I know in NASCAR if you're not cheating, you're not trying. But every season there are cheating scandals that stick, and carry through to the next season.

Why are we NASCAR fans always so ready to believe the worst?

i'll have you know we at roush-fenway would never cheat. we may be incompetent at times and accidentally leave a bolt loose on an oil tank lid, but we would never cheat. them toyota-lovers, however, they're cheaters right down to their ferrin' lovin' bones.

It's not called cheating, honey, it's called paying off the officials...oops did I say that out loud.

And let's not call it cheating let 's call it helping out the working man. It's just being humanitarian we all have to do our part.

fluffy, maybe their 'mistakes' are blatant to hide the really cool cheating methods, a 'smoking gun' if you will, to draw the officials' attention away from the real deal

In Nascar, they cheat with innovation, ingenuity and craftsmanship.



In other sports, they cheat with a needle in there rear.

It's supposed to be a competitive sport based on ingenuity. In street racing it's not called cheating . It's called being a better technician. But the way some of these guys are doing it is too oldschool and low tech. Sometimes they deserve what they get. As a technician myself , I just don't understand why they make their "mistakes" so blatant. They need to perform their actions in a more covert manner, then they wouldn't get "caught". Seriously. I can do better than that.

The Nascar field I guess is like this Nascar forum.  Some people have many accounts and cheat then some have their little network of friends and only pick the best answers from.  It is pretty sad! (sort of like nascar)  Yup, worse then Days of our Lives!  What sickens me is it is the pathetic fans who believe anything and always have to be in conflict with each other that make Nascar look bad.  Yes drivers cheating is bad, but the fans drag it out and out and they never seem to get their facts straight.  I could go on and on but you get my point.
