Why is sophia bush's voice hoarse????

 According to her, she's had a raspy voice since she was 12. She already had a pretty hoarse voice when OTH began, but she began losing it with overuse. In season 5, she needed her tonsils removed, but delayed it, which is why her voice is gone the entire season. She got it back, but still remains hoarse and loses her voice frequently.

Why are people snapping!?!? It was just a simple question. As everyone knows, In seasons 1-5 of OTH and in the movie John Tucker Must Die, her voice wasn't that hushed. There's a noticable change, and people are just wondering what happened.

It sounds like she is straining to talk just above a whisper.  Something must have happened because that is not normal and she didn't sound that way before.  This is not some s**y raspiness...she is hoarse for sure.

I noticed that too. After a few seasons it changed a bit. I don't mind it at all, its pretty cute (:

All wrong!!! She said in an interview that she has been ill and all the talking she has to do on the show and in promo's etc has put a strain on her voice, but I'm sure if she were to rest it for a while it will get better
