i mean, whenever i see someone yawn, i feel like i need to yawn too. then after i yawn, someone else yawns. it seems contagious. does anybody know why????

  2. Yawning is an involuntary response that your body does when it thinks it lacks oxygen.  Yawning makes you take in more air.  Just try to stop yourself from yawning.

    When you see someone else yawn, it sends a signal to you that someone else has detected a low oxygen content in the room, so you yawn too to get more oxygen.  It&#039;s a survival measure; for example, if someone ducks after hearing a loud sound, you probably will duck too.

  3. really?  I once watch this movie on discovery channel, there r some scientist n they conducted some experiment about it but still they r clueless. They said that it might has something 2 do about ur brain. They said that somehow u tend to do what others do that interest u. For example, u yawn when u see someone do it because u r sleepy. By the way, I never really yawn when i see someone yawn
