Why is spring like winter this year? It is so cold?

in switzerland it's been rainy most of the time. today it was kind of warmer in the afternoon.

but a few days ago it snowed.

very unpredictable weather.

i hear they r blaming teh weird weather on the whole global warming thing i think our weather is just changing that does happen every so often i mean the weather wasnt always like this either just for as long as we can remember

in the uk, we have been having some lovely weather,  warm sunny days, but cold evenings.

It's only cold in certain parts of North America. Parts of California recorded extreme highs a couple days ago. It's all quite normal. It is unreasonable to expect a 'perfect' spring or 'perfect' fall every year. Nature is unpredictable but if you average it out over 100 years, it will all look normal. I bet a few years later we'll be getting an unusually warm spring and people are not going to notice it because we have this false idea that spring should be warm. It's not. Spring is a transition season and is both warm and cold, not just week to week but year to year too. Summer is the only warm season.

It is rather cold here too but the spring of 2006, especially April, was very warm here. So it's all balancing out.
