  1. because none of the "atheletes" could pass a drug test to save their lives

  2. Because the Olympics have sunk very, very low, but not THAT low.

    Yet.

  3. I guess cause you can never insure there will be good waves. Its hard to judge. and its not very fair cause one person might get a better wave. It just wouldn't work out.

  4. I don't think there are enough good surfers in the world.

  5. I guess for the same reason that Baseball and Softball will not be olympic sports after this olympics- not enough countries have enough participants.

  6. ROTFLMAO...now THAT would be one heavy duty venue.

It's not as widely accepted of an event as most of the ones currently on the program (okay not counting badminton and table tennis).

It would be difficult and/or expensive to create the venue for the athletes to compete. (Okay in Sydney it wouldn't but where would you surf in Beijing?)

Not every country has the same opportunity (or even close to) to field competitors.

It would just be one more event the rest of the world could bash the US for rigging the games after they swept the medal podium.

Please don't tell me surfing is swimming, it's balancing but not swimming.

    Thanks,

    Enjoy!

  7. idk, it should be, that would be cool
