In certain Make-up powders there is an ingredient called Talc. Is this bad for your skin? Because there are products called talc free face powder...so is it better without?

  1. talcum free is better.....talcum clogs your pores really badly, especially when you sweat...its like spackle in your pores(YUK!) and as everyone already says...really dries u out, makes you look patchy

  2. Talc is an ingredent that you find mostly in deodorants and talcum powder.  As you can probably guess, these are two things made to DRY out your skin.  That is why they have been removing it from make-up, it pulls the moisture out of your skin, which in the long run not only looks bad, but it causes wrinkles.  Go Talc Free!

  3. yes it  is better without :)

For a lot of people, talc irritates their face, which in return makes them break out! go for things without talc!

( instead of talc they use Mica, mica isn't an irritant to the skin)

    =)

my makeup has 3 ingredients.Mica, iron oxides and titanium dioxide. It`s mineral makeup :D

  4. Talc dries out your skin

  5. Its really hard to find make-up thats talc free. Alot of high end brands even use talc. But some brands like physicians formula has some products that are talc free.

  6. It tends to makes your skin dry.

Its also found in baby powder.

Its also bad for your respitory system if used in large quantity for over a long period of time.

But a lot of people use items containing talc.

If you have sensitive skin then def. go for talc free make up.

But it will not cuase wrinkles.

    Good Luck! Hope i helped!

  7. talc free products are healthier....but products with talc look a lot better, last much longer, and dont make your skin look so oily
