  1. It has glue on it. You know, the stuff they make out of horse bones. Oh wait, thats jello.

  2. its the point of tape stupid m**o

  3. a strip of cloth, paper, or plastic with an adhesive surface, used for sealing, binding, or attaching items together.

  4. Tape is not always sticky.   There is the "Police Tape" and  "Caution" tape to name two.

There is recording tape, that "sound sticks to" but your fingers will not stick to.

Then there is the tape you use to measure your height, or your other measurements.

So it depends on the type of tape as to if it is sticky or not.   So if the tape is sticky it must be because you wanted it to stick to something like "duct tape" that you can use to make anything from a "prom dress" to a wallet or to even cover your mouth so you don't ask dumb questions.

  5. Hi,

Assuming that you mean "sticky-tape" as opposed to other tapes, then my favourite is "gaffer" tape.

It sticks almost anything to anything in a strong manner.

We stick cables to the stage floor in the band, so you don't trip over them, and a small strip over the bass-players mouth to stop him trying to sing.

A strong glue on thick backed substrate is the thing

Comes in many a colour as well

Sellotape is a weak nonesense in comparison.

    Only good for Christmas presents.

Do one up in gaffer-tape, and watch the struggle to open it !
