Why is texas doing great in econemy?

why is texas number one in business and export profits

Texas always has had a large share of its business activity tied to natural resources -- particularly oil and gas. The problem with that is that natural resources are definitely boom or bust type activities. Sometimes life is good, sometimes life is not so good. It has been a good idea to be in the oil business lately.

Maybe they didn't have or let a bunch of house flippers ruin their banks. Or maybe they didn't outsource all their jobs to Pakafricastan

There are doing good on economy because they make oil which provides gas, and since they provide it, it costs less than any other state. And usually when gas prices rise, it makes other things also rise. Gas right now is making a lot of things

expensive and gas by itself it expensive.

Because Texas does not have restrictive laws that hold businesses back and it has no state income taxes. As a group, people in Texas still have a strong work ethic and family values, which I believe is a contributor to a strong economy.

In other words... Texas gets it!
