  1. The more popular ones are definitely NOT. Sounds like you might not be a very good player.

  2. Stop your crying.

If you thought about it for half a second, the sites make money based on raking hands played.

If there was ANY hint of an unfair game, people would just go play on other sites.

Therefore, the incentive is for the site to have the HIGHEST LEVEL OF INTEGRITY in their games that they can possibly provide.

Not the other way around, as you see it when viewed through your loose-calling, bad-beat-ridden, tear filled eyes...

  3. rigged is the wrong choice of words...........

  4. it.s there law

  5. It's not. It jsut seems that way.  You play more hands per hour than in real life so you probably play some hands you normally wouldn't. Multiply that by the fact that 8 other people at the table are doing the same thing and you run into the bad beat scenarios.  Multiply that by the loose callers and donkeys and the Sammy Farha or Daniel Negreanu types and you're gonna run into to some bad beats and bad suckouts.  But you probably get some yourself.

If poker sites were rigging games, they would've been caught by now. I guarantee tons of people have disected the hand histories and code and if anything was to be found, it would've been found by now.

Besides, poker sites don't want to give up paying customers even by letting their sites APPEAR to be rigged.  Their security and anti-fraud teams in house are very good. Several times, they've even been able to stop DOS attacks and hackers in mid operation.

Usually, all the 'it's rigged' whining comes from players who made bad calls, bad plays or got sucked out on. But the sites are not rigged.  Can you imagine the class action lawsuits if they were?

  6. I wish I could give more thumbs up to Dover Pro's posting.

  7. it's not rigged. you're just remembering the beats and not counting how many times your hands stood up.

  8. Some online poker rooms are DEFINITELY "Rigged"!

Proof of this is in recent scandals at Absolute and at Ultimate Bet. Here is a link:

In these cases, insider players could see the hole cards of all the players at the table. And both of these sites are "Certified" by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission, which now appears to be in serious disrepute. There is no question about these facts.

There are many other sites out there that should be avoided - here is a blacklist of sites with problems:

As for some of the other posters comments - There can be no class action lawsuits to most casinos since they operate outside of the USA. They are bound by local laws only, and many of these online casinos are located in places where there is absolutely no regulation whatsoever.

Poker rooms do try to maintain the appearance of propriety, and they do attempt to catch duplicate accounts, collusion, and other forms of online cheating, and I suspect they do have some success on that, but it clearly still exists. You have no recourse with most of these online casinos - who are you going to complain to about problems? So they can do just about anything they want with no repercussions.

Not all online poker sites are "Rigged", some are probably safe, and some are actually USA Legal. A USA legal site would be subject to US laws and US regulations!

  9. It's not.  The only people that ever claim this are bad players who can't win.
