Why is that History Channel's Human Weapon has more episodes than Discovery Channel's Fight Quest?

Do you think Discovery Channel was holding back on the budget or something? Discovery Channel has got to be loads richer than the History Channel!

Fight Quest was a pilot season so that's why. If they have more people watching they will extend the season. That's how TV works. First there's the pilot episode, and if people like it, then they run through a short season.

The history channel is owned by the National Geographic Channel, so I don't think money is an issue.  It's also clear that the production value is better with Human Weapon.

They have both only had 1 season.  But I think Discovery Channel saw how successful the show was so they put Fight Quest together as competition really quickly.  I think that is why the production value is lower on Fight Quest.

Next season, I expect the production value to be equal for both shows.
