Nerds play computer games. Most educated Muslims are geeks. Hence, you will find a lot of them playing computer games. All in good fun. It's not that they like the terrorist side. It's possible that they simply dislike the American side. The names imply that they are (most likely) foreign, and it is very common for people outside the US and immigrants to the US to have a disliking for America. They associate the Counter-Terrorist as being Americans, so they choose the Terrorist side simply to be anti-American. It doesn't necessarily mean that they support terrorism (or neo-Nazism in the case of MoH)
