Why is that alot of people on this thing My Yahoo, don't reveal thier email address?

I wanted to contact serveal people and was not able to, due to them blocking the address. I mean it is thier choice, but why so many or am I wrong?

I don't leave mine.

Essentially, I've said all I felt I needed to when I answered each question. I don't welcome people contacting me personally to ask for further information in private. When I had my email public, I got that often, mostly from people who wanted critique on their writing or to argue with my opinion on someone's writing skill or marketability.

Once in a while I'll put my email in a reply, inviting the person to contact me.

I have that as my option too, I guess we don't want anonymous emails...I received one from someone that was just bored and wanted to send me a trouble-maker email lol....It's also for security purposes, who wants their real email adress to be exposed.

1st of all ITS DEFAULT and a lot of them don't even know about it

Oh , and the email address in anonymous even if you can contact them , its because of email spam and Yahoo! can't show UR email address in public , read the "Copyright/IP Policy - Privacy Policy  - Terms of Service  - Community Guidelines"

For security reasons.

Imagine having you email addy posted in Yahoo!, there is a possibility that you'll, pestered by people like me. :) just kiddin.

It is to prevent spammers and stalkers lurking into your inbox.

allot of people are on here to   answer  and ask questions not looking to meet ppl like in a chat room
