Why is that they want you to answer questions to get points, but the people who ask the questions get minus?

  1. I think its to discourage people form using YA as a chat site. IF there were no points for posting questions the board would be flooded with shout outs.


  2. They want everyone to contribute to the community.  If people could just ask as many questions as they want with no limitations, there would be less motivation to answer questions and therefore less answers.  In order to earn the chance to ask questions, you help keep the place running! ^-^

  3. To try and stop trolls from asking stupid questions that don't even relate to them.  Like some ppl will say they are 13, then the next question is about their 12 year old child...etc..

  4. Not everybody actually cares about the points.  I'm already at the top of the heap, so it doesn't matter to me.

  5. I know it sucks,right!
