Why is that when I beat Elite Four on Pokemon Emerald, the Game will be Erased?

I'm really frustrated, I beat them many times in the Gameboy Advance and even in the GBA Emulator, but it is still Deleted.Please Answer me.

Is the elite four' the "final boss"? if so most games revert back to before you defeated the main boss ( i know this is true for all legend of zelda games) its so you can complete errands that may be outstanding or to kill the boss again if you so choose making that particular user still active

it happens to me when i finished the game the 2nd time. after that, when i beat the elite 4, it's nlt deleted. the only thing you can do is to replace it, buy an original one or the most complicated part, complain to nintendo(because it's not only you and me who is experiencing this)

This has been happening to me for a few years. i have beaten the elite 4 about 20 times and each time the save file is erased due to "corruption or damage". This may be happening as a result of a faulty game or a cheap copy. I know for a fact that my emerald is not the correct version as instead of having a transluecent green cartridge it is a classic grey/black cartridge with the pokemon emerald sticker.

This may mean you may never get to visit the battle frontier and any of the post game areas. Hope this helps.
