  1. because they want 2 know if u want 2 see cursing or wrong photos.

  2. It doesn't matter what you've added or not added to your 360.

The "view mature content" setting has to do with what you want to see on someone else's 360 space, not yours. If you are age 18 and over (at least based on the birth date you provided to Yahoo upon creating your account), then you get that choice as an adult user. If you choose yes, then you will see blogs that people have designated as "mature content". If you choose no, then you won't be able to see those blogs.

    - Click "Settings" at the top of your 360

    - Scroll down to the "View Mature Content on a Blog" section (see http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/360/blo... for more information).

    - Make your selection, then click the "Save" button.

NOTE: Your changes will save only if the sections designated with red asterisk on that page are filled in properly.

If you decide to post more than "Hi" in your blog area, then you will have to make a choice whether to designate your entire blog as "mature content" or individual entries as such. It doesn't matter if your blog is only for friends or not OR how people get to your 360:

    - You can access blog settings by clicking the "Settings" link at the top and clicking "Blog Settings" on the left OR while in "My Blog" clicking "Edit Blog Settings" in the top center of the 360 window. If you set it for the entire blog, you would still have to go back to entries prior to that time and check any that contain mature/adult content.

    - For individual entries, click the "Edit" link below an entry, click the "Show Options" link and check the mature content option, then re-save.

Basically, the "mature content" feature was added to the 360 service so that people can comply with Yahoo Terms of Service (http://info.yahoo.com/legal/us/yahoo/uto... ) and

360 Guidelines: (http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/360/gui... ) and still be able to post that content. Again, blog entries designated as "mature content" are blocked to the "Public" (people not logged into a Yahoo service and/or those without 360 spaces activated) and 360 members under age 18.
