Question:

Why is that you get charged when you RECIEVE texts?

This hardly seems fair. You wouldn't have to pay if someone kept calling you but you never picked up. I have a pre-paid phone, and someone could technically use up all my money by sending me hundreds of texts. Is there any logic behind this rather than evil cell phone company greed?

  1. well... the logical answer is this.

the network just really wants ur money so they dont get out of business.

I think its so unfair too. Its g*y and makes no sense at all.

anyways, im cool and i dont have a phone yet.

    lol

    we're all cool!

  2.   I agree with you but thats why I always recommend unlimited texts whenever possible. Inevitably whenever someone gets your cell number you get added onto their group text list and you will get bombarded with everything. I specifically disagree with internationally texts that you get charged for that you never asked for.

  3. no. its all about evil cell phone company greed.

  4. were you given an a thorough explanation of the cellphone plan when you get it? telephone companies have different Policies and Terms of Services. some tel. com will charge the user for receiveing and sending texts. i am charge if i send text but i will be charged to send and receive emails on my cellphone. even just to ring a particular phone number for international and the other party will not answer the call, it is billed already just for the ring. though it's impossible to argue with the tel. com. but i absolutely agree with you
