It's not.  I remember the marathon is the last event, before a couple hours break and then the closing ceremony.

The 4x400 relay is probably the last event the American channels will broadcast, since it's the last that has American athletes competing.

well i don't know why 4*400 relay is last..its ok..whats the problem with that..let it be last..they must have decided do to some or the other reasons..
