Hi Sindy:)

No, I hadn't heard of that either before today. I was doing an astrology quiz at skyscript.co.uk and it was one of the questions on the quiz (not this question exactly, it was set up like "who wants to be a millionaire" lol, so the Q was "which house is traditionally known as the joy of mars?" with 4 choices listed below). Apparently the 11th is traditionally known as the "joy of Jupiter" too, so I'm thinking that this must be based on the writings of someone, but I really don't know who...

Anyhow, your reasoning seems to make sense to me. Thanks for answering:-)

  1. Mars bars are enJOYed in one out of every 6th household?

  2. I don't know.  I never heard that before.  But... because it's the work house and Mars loves to work?

edit: anytime sun god (your avatar). :-)

  3. Well, the symbol of mars is god of war. However, it was said to 'joy' in the 6th house of servants with chores and ill-health (all of these houses are associated with labour and energy expenditure: 3rd - schoolchild, 10th - worker, 6th - servant).

    Hope this Helps!
