  1. because of the sea bottom, the caribbean sea is covered by reefs and flatter  and the atlantic is an ocean and and 20 times deeper .


  2. Part of it depends on the way the sun hits it. Also the depth is different and the plant life that inhabits it characterizes the color.

  3. The plant life is different in the warm water.  That is why all tropical water is blue and colder waters tend to have a greenish color.  Also the Caribbean is not as deep as the Atlantic.
