Why is the IT industry coming down??

hi pals... i wanted to know because of what reason is the IT industry not as it was before... why is this economy going down?? and whats the future for software engineers.. i heard that many are being sacked out of their jobs... and even those who have got placed in campus are undergoing something known as disguised unemployment... ie.. the freshers get their starting dates which never come... why is this all happening???

i hope this all bcoz f growing technology....

This growing technology involves less man power n more machine power...

N this cannot b stopped r either v can b umemployed...

So there's only 1 solution tht v d FRESHERS must b more concious abt d growing technology n must cope up vt it...

V must b little sharper than d machines n v can do this...

This is onlly way v 've else v r sacked, hacked n banged by our only machines...

R else thr's a way do it if u can...

Most of the Indian IT Services shops get their business out of US. Hence, their survival directly depends on constant supply of projects from US.

Since US is currently undergoing a crisis, corporations there are under cost saving/cutting mode, and hence have put all technology investments in a back burner.

This seems to have effected the business of T services companies dependent on US.

blame the USA economic depression for all this and also India's increasing inflation rate which is at an all time high of 12 percent now! As a result of these two factors IT industry is slowing as most of the work is outsourced to India from the USA
