Why is the MMA on CBS crowd so horrible?

They boo after 20 seconds of no activity, they don't cheer fighters after a good fight, and they just seem spoiled and uneducated about mma in general.

They've been brainwashed by boxing and have no idea what a good fight looks like.  Also, I heard that fight really sucked.  Many MMA fans have been saying the fight itself was lame and it was rigged so that Kimbo would've won no matter what.  CBS should stick to broadcasting the only athletic genre it knows...college football.

One thing that you need to understand is that MMA isn't uber-popular yet....the first 20/30 minutes of CBS's coverage had to do with educating the audience about MMA.  Second, I heard A LOT of cheering from the crowd...perhaps you were just watching the earlier fights that we shown online and not on CBS???  Perhaps people were booing simply b/c they were crappy fighters.

They are there for Kimbo and dont know a thing about MMA. Its sad really, they think it should be non stop punches. If someone goes to the ground for a submission or God forbid use any form of martial arts its a boring fight.
