Why is the Obama campaign trying to silence Stanley Kurtz in reporting on the Ayers/Obama connection?

Obama supporters were asked to contact Chicago radio station WGN's 720 Extension radio talk show en masse to encourage the station to drop an interview with Stanley Kurtz, a National Review Online contributor with new information on Barack Obama.

They are very afraid of what new information Kurtz has...very obvious.  This connection with Ayers is really serious, because imagine your President having had ties with a domestic terrorist...who got off on a technicality and is teaching in a college!  Imagine if that connection was a Republican?  That would be all over for the Republican candidate.  Total bias and Obama knows the media is in his pocket.  So, if the Republicans want to win this election, in the month of Oct, let them remind the American people of Obama's questional past and alliances with radical and left wing people...This will only go away if the Republicans drop the ball...I for one do not trust BHO and am very suspicious of his past.

Bill Ayers, an ex member of the terrorist organisation "Weather Underground" was an associate of Barack Obama. Ayers founded an organisation called the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, and Obama became the board Chairman.  It is suggested that he got this job with the aid of Bill Ayers.  The foundation provided funding to Ayers's own projects during the time Obama was Chairman, and there may have been conflicts of interest.  The organisation was involved in political issues involving Chicago's public schools.

The Richard J. Daley Library at the University of Illinois at Chicago contains the internal files of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge.  The records consist of 132 boxes, containing 947 file folders.  These files would detail Obama-approved foundation gifts to political allies, and provide information about Obama's leadership style.

The curious thing is that a cover-up has been hastily mounted to prevent further public access to these files, after Stanley Kurtz obtained permission to view them

Because they know it will make Obama look bad.  Any time someone intentionally suppresses information, you know it can't be good. Ayers is an admitted, unapologetic, domestic terrorist.  Most people, regardless of party affiliation, don't appreciate that kind of person and many people judge others by the company they keep.  Big mistake for a "patriot" like Obama to be hanging out with Ayers.

The press has been going through all obama's records with Ayers. The american public has a right to know his relationship with this homegrown terrorist who should have be deported for his despicable acts. I  personally assume there something to hide.Why else all the drama. ? If would be to  Mr Obama  to have these made public, then he could clear himself from ties with Mr. Ayers.  But since they are fighting so hard to keep them from the public how could one think other than he has something to hide. .So that where I am at on  this. this matter .Now, it duty to show me  and  has to prove to me. he not hiding his past. .

If what you say is true, then who asked Obama supporters to do so? If it was somebody from the Obama camp, then it's likely because Mr. Kurtz had some information that they didn't want made public. That's politics for ya.
