    another thing, the price is always measured with USD just go to www.iccfx.com and watch the historic rates of USD against another currencies.

    the dollar is loosing its value!


  2. It's called the law of supply and demand. Production has not kept up with demand, so with more people competing for a limited resource, the price inevitably rises. Demand for all petroleum-based products (such as plastics) keeps increasing, particulary as large countries like China and India become more industrialized and the standard of living rises so more people can afford automobiles and petroleum based products. Couple this with an increasing world population and demand, and therefore prices, will continue to rise.

  3. The supply of fuel is less whereas the demand is more. It is a principle of business that in such cases, it becomes a "sellers' market" and they dictate the prices.
