Why is the Strawberry and Grape grow only in cold environment?

I was told that the strawberry would not really grow well in hot environment! She's the one my sister beside me in bed! I surprise that she would ask me such question, so, I bring it to you yae!

  1. No, they grow better in cooler climates, but CAN grow in hot climates.


  2. Strawberry and grape evolved in a temperate climate, and that is what suits them best. Not the arctic, not the tropics. Diseases would be a problem in the tropics due to the humidity.
