Why is the TV news usually about bad things, like violence?

They hardly ever focus on the good in life.

Are people really so morbid they want to see that? Or is it some other reason?

  1. I don't think it's about what people want I just think it's reality. When you look at current events around the world the bad simply out weighs the good. If the news media focused on the good, half the networks probably wouldn't exist. Plus, how else is the government supposed to scare people into the New World Order? Can't do it with 'good' news...


  2. Scare you into submission make you feel need of The State to protect you. The reason is this people themselves become The News instead of making their own news. People can make sure their news is good by reducing violence through making their own currency. The Media also misrepresents the violence as much of it is political in nature. Armed Robberies for example. The violence of Policemen and The State or Corporate Crime like that of Pepsi in Burma do not receive focus. Also The Media helps maintain State Violence.
