Why is the U.S. training and financing Fatah?

Is this indicative of a zionist plan to use Fatah to invade the Gaza,as they used the Maronite Phlange to liquidate the Sabra and Shatilla refugee camps?

They want to use it to destroy Hamas because the PA under Hamas leadership isn't willing to jump through hoops for the U.S. and it's little henchman government in what used to be called Palestine.

It has long been a policy of the US to promote a government that they think will be more beneficial to them. It really doesn't matter to them if they have to overthrow the elected government to get a government more friendly to them. This policy results in decisions being made that turn out to be detrimental to US interests in the long run.

Technically they are training the internal security "police" of the nominal P.A. The U.S. is using a camp in Jordan; Germany recently committed a large sum for funding the militia. But it basically is Fatah and I personally feel it is obvious that this is ultimately a plan to reoccupy the Gaza by using Fatah/P.A. as a proxy. It is strikingly similar to the zionist exploitation of the Christian Phalange. The P.A. can employ extreme brutality while the U.S./Israeli government says "my hands are clean".

I think you figured it out. Obviously - and I do mean obviously - the Vichyite P.A. will be used as a cut-out to invade the Gaza as a proxy for the Tel Aviv regime.

Because helping Fatah run their own land and be able to police themselves would be an important element in bringing peace to the region. As long as the Palestinians don't have land Israel will be in a never ending war so helping the Palestinians have their own state and be able to police themselves would prevent further conflict with Israel. This is because Fatah has agreed to crack down on extremists that want to upset the peace process so helping arming them will help keep the Palestinians moderate and in the path of a two state solution that will be at peace with Israel.  This is because Fatahs police will prevent extremists from stirring the pot while Israel's police control their extremists. So the US is giving Fatah weapons as long they use them only to stabilize their future Palestinian state and not to terrorize Israel. The conflict is complex and explaining this throughly is extremely difficult.

I am afraid we will have to wait and see on this one, people will consider you as being anti 'What ever the term they wish to use' if you even suggest that certain individuals in the USA are involved with 'Zionists (who are nothing more than poor old lady's who hold tea parties and pray for a better world!)
