Question:

Why is the UK still selling our gas cheaply to Europe when prices are going up so much at home?

When oil-related prices on the Continent tend to be higher, our European neighbours have been shopping with impunity for cheaper gas here in the UK through the interconnector.l Why is it still happening when supplies are dwindling and we're having to import the stuff?

  1. Did you also realise that, because they have large gas storage units. They buy our gas cheap in the summer and sell it back to us when its more expensive in the winter....you couldn't make this s*it up.

  2. the government is raising the prices (as far as i understand)

by making the price rise the number of people driving (driving far) goes down, because they can't afford it!

this lowers greenhouse gasses and eases traffic!

  3. Sadly just yet another "Rip off Britain" thing I am afraid to say.

  4. Yes this has been going on for some time now, and why? because our government is stupid. Can you think of a better reason?

  5. Because this country continues to go down the drain. Sad but true.

  6. Well you know what this country is like - free housing - come here.  Handouts - come here.  Foreign Aid - get it from here - I could go on and on..............
