Why is the US wasting its money and precious time on Iraq when China is about to launch her second lunar satellite and China has even proposed to send men on the moon very soon. China was the first to shoot their own satellite in space and the US also tried to do the same a a few weeks ago worried about what china did. But all i see today about the US is occupation of Iraq and wasting a lot of innocent lives and precious money on Iraq. And the US occupation of Iraq and resulted in a lot of hatred towards them and has put the US in greater danger not only from mistrust and hatred but also from Al Quaeda and the possibility of al quaeda getting nuclear weapons. But the problem is if the US citizens themselves are willing to see the US retreat from Iraq or if they want to see the superiority of the US deteriorate more by getting this false impression that occupying iraq will make them a great nation. This also qualifys to who the US citizens want to vote for.

  1. The center of the next hostile ideology against Western freedom and democracy does not lie in China.  China is in the early stages of capitalist development, and thus can cause quite a lot of trouble, but they aren't trying to take over the world as the radical Islamists are.  China is mainly trying to make the greatest profits anywhere they can.  They no longer harbor a hostile ideology.  In fact, they have almost no ideology now, which is a little unsettling....

Interesting that you want to put more money into space.  I do too.  But a lot of people consider that a waste of money.

  2. Why? because we're little sheepies blindly following our poorly selected shepherds.

Actually, it's because we were tricked into starting and because of our nature we can't throw in the towel until we have sufficient dead to make a decent memorial(roughly 3 or 4 thousand in a 5 year period.... we should be out of there in roughly 40 years... zut alor). I'm not alone in being utterly disgusted with how that war began. I believe it a disgrace that we sent 140+ thousand into Iraq before first cleansing afghanistan. Now we're hurting a both fronts. China is a threat and they are ambitious and expansionist at heart so we should be watching them. Though truthfully we outspend them militarily by a ridiculous amount. I'm of the opinion that the real chinese threat is economic and that sadly is currently one of our biggest weakspots not just as a government but in our private sector as well. They like to act as monopolies and oligarchies too much and need to spend more money on r&d and streamline their organizations.
