  1. Well, if you ask these kinds of questions, of course you're going to get rude answers.

Contrary to popular opinion, the US government don't spend much money for sport.  Most of the money comes from the athletes' parents or some companies that either sponsors the athlete or put money into the sports' governing body.  The US government unlike the government of say North Korea or China, do not run sport camps on tax payers dime.

Let's see, crime every where, you must be watching too many Hollywood movie.  I'd rather live here in Los Angeles than say Rio, or Jakarta.

Our school system do need help, and definitely the health care.  But that money is not going to come from sports, if it's coming from anywhere it's going to have to come from the military spending.

  2. every top empire has its peak, i think that was right before 9/11

    now we're just going down

  3. we aren't rude at least not in the south unless you're some kinda weirdo who hates us then we're rude

everything else is some what true but WE AIN'T RUDE!!!

  4. wtf, you already asked this...idiot

  5. Actually, they are not very good at sports any more apart from American Football and Baseball that most of the world are not interested in. Their Olympic medal total is very poor compared to the size of population.

  6. You asked this already

  7. Ummm they spend so much money on us. How do you make these conclusions. Do you even live here?

Have you seen the NYC Department of ED. Did you know that just this city has over 4,000 schools, not counting the private ones? And they are still building more!

There is not as much crime as in other countries and the crime has been low since the 70's.

Health Care is FREE for most people and now they are going to make it social for everyone.

Social class here depends weather you went to school or weather you work hard enough. (Everything here is earned)

We will be going 100% green in 10 years! All of our major cities will be powered by clean energy.

This is one of the largest countries in the world (geographically) and I can assure you, every road from the west coast to the East, from Alaska to Hawaii is paved

    .

Our economy is not crumbling it's just lower at the moment.

    CAN PEOPLE STOP ASSUMING SHT!

So were doing good at the olympics so you nit pick at our society. NOT COOL DUDE!

Being well traveled, I have learned to appreciate my home because I learned not everyone has the luxury that we (even the poorest!) have in America.

  8. One word. Economy.

  9. You're a piece of work. You say you are not insulting or offending anyone and yet you post something like this? You hypocrite!

  10. We are really good at accepting immigrants, we have had alot of practice. So if the U.S. is only good at sports why is it a dream for many people all over the world to come here?

By the way what is a crowed school?

Americans are rude but you come on here and insult a whole nation of people and you have no clue what you are talking about there is no fact in your ?question?

  11. 1) Health care is free or reasonably priced for many people through medicare and Medicaid. Also, medicine is expensive everywhere.

    2) schools are doing fine, with increases in test scores.

    3) crime isn't everywhere are you kidding????

    4) people can rise or fall in social class depending on how hard people are willing to work

    5) economy isn't crumbling, its just in a recession which is part of the economic cycle

    6) people are not rude unless your rude first...

yea so the U.S. isn't good at much huh....

  12. where is this coming from that health care is free for most people?  not very many people are eligible for medicare and medicaid.  The most I've ever made in a year is 14K and most years I make under 11K, I don't qualify for those programs and the vast majority of adults make more than me.  From what I have heard (and this is hearsay, because I haven't done personal research about Europe) it's a lot of the western European countries.

One reason most Americans may come off as rude: think about it, most of the ones that can afford to go to other countries are well off, rich spoiled people can be jerks no matter what country they are again.  Once again, not a researched fact, just a possibility to consider, and even if my statement is true, it certainly isn't universal.  If you've only met people in a tourist situation don't assume you know everything about all the people in the country.

  13. Yeah i agree, its because they only care about looking good, which the rest of the world can see right through

  14. And you forgot to mention that they also oppress and slaughter their own people in order to maintain the iron grip of the ruling party upon all aspects of society.  Oh wait, sorry, that's China.

  15. They're not that good at sports. Since you posted this in the Olympics section, looking at Olympic medals: The US has only just over double the number of medals of, say, Australia, a country with only 6% the population of the US, and without the massive funding and infrastructure the US devotes to winning competitions.
