its the most popluar system out and its not the chepest console out its now the xbox360 when it gos down to 199 lol but anyways everyone loves the wii you dont have to be 5 years old to like the wii my 50 year old mom plays the wii lol so yeah

Because it's cheap and it has games for mass audiences (small kids, adult casual gamers), not hardcore gamers. It's like a mainstream pop song. Nice console for a casual gamer, but serious gamers go for 360 or PS3 (strongest console on the market).

Nintendo can't keep up with the demand. In a few months they should be able to though.

I wonder that myself because to me the wii is c**p unless you have a 5yr old kid then yeah happy b.day besides that I have no clue the games suck people must really like mario lol
