Why is the air quality so bad in China?

According to the pictures in the newspaper, it looks like in China you can't see 10 feet in front of you.

Well it's because have many factories in China and you  know it already I'm sure you watching the news.

the thing is China just open there country to the world. it's not only in China that have a pollution. why don't you ask USA there country is open to the world for long long long long years but they haven't sign the climate change yet. that's why they have bad air quality there and they have many calamities there this year also. not only in China you can find pollution.

sometimes you need to clean first your own country before you mind the other country.

China didn't start the problem, is not the only country has air pollution, if you really care about the air, stop driving the big as* SUV of yours

Mainly the factories. The cars, constuction site and the garbage dump contibutes to the bad air quality.

Well, recently, after China was said to be the next world power, the U.S.A. mysteriously started to find all these problems in China out of no where. The medicine packs that my grandparents used now says that they caused cancer...Every body in my family uses them and even my grandparents, who used them for over 40 years never developed cancer. The U.S.A. is just picking on China right now so thats why the picture looks like you can't see 10 feet in front of you. I've been to China myself. I admit it that the air is really polluted, but you can still see very far ahead of you. The only thing you can't see is the blue sky. All of this is caused by the population boom and the ammount of vehicles and factories.

The air qualities are bad in the cities because of all the factories built around the cities, such as Beijing, Shanghai, etc. The environmental protection law isn't implemented, results in bad air quality in China. But since the start of the Olympics, the Chinese government has taken various of measures to clean up the air, and it has improved a lot over the past couple of months.
