  1. 180º is half of a circle.  think about if you cut a circle in half.  There is a straight line on the top.  So if something has an angle of half of a circle, it will come out as that straight line.

  2. because it splits the 360degree circle in half.

  3. Because it is half a circle, and a circle is 360 degrees.

  4. I agree with Paddy J.

  5. could be zero also.  It implies that you can bisect the line at any place and the two remaining lines would be completely parallel to one another.

  6. Picture two lines at a 90 degree angle, like this: "L"

Now, rotate the vertical bar towards the left, so it is more like "\_".  The first picture, "L", is a 90 degree angle.  As the second line rotates, forming the second picture, the angle increases.

A straight line is actually two lines, but they are rotated, as above, to a total of 180 degrees.  "L" to "\_" to "--" 90 degrees to about 110 degrees to 180 degrees.

  7. I think you should learn some more english and then move onto math.
