It's really annoying when the light isn't in the room. Why can't they just make it inside. Plus people ca turn the light off on you and that's never fun...

Thanks!

  1. To prevent you from being electrocuted as water and electricity are not a healthy mix for humans it could be fatal or maybe just fuse the light if your lucks in.

  2. Where is this at?

Never been in a CR with the light switch out side.

    I'm American.

  3. Switches are sometimes outside the room because there's an electrical code requirement that you can't have a switch within a certain distance of a bathtub or other things with water. I agree, it's very annoying.

  4. so you can see before you enter, the water could be spilled on the floor and you could have an accident, the toilet cover could be down, there could be other stuff on the  floor that you can step on....

  5. You mean the light switch?

I never really thought of that. lol

Most light switches are inside the room.

    :-)

  6. in case your hands are wet and you electricute yourself i think. or maybe whoever designed this idea was a bit of a funny guy so thought it would b a good idea to put it on the outside so people can turn it off?
