Why is the book Twlight called Twilight?

I know there's a significant meaning to the book like everything else but i can't seem to process it through my head.

    Often confused with dusk, twilight is specifically defined as the period before or after night-time.

    Twilight, the sun has set and the moon will take its place. Edward is the moon. Bella and Edward fall in love.

  4. Stephenie Meyer couldn't think of any other titles. She toyed with the idea of Forks but her editor said it had to change. So Stephenie Meyer just picked Twilight.

    I think the title Twilight is a pretty good idea.
