Question:

Why is the calories for Subway's buffalo chicken sub so high?

Their website lists all ingredients separate but NOT the buffalo sauce itself. But the total fat and calories is alot more than the bread, chicken strips and veggies alone. It can't be the sauce because I called my local SW and they said it's Franks Red Hot sauce which is fat free and like 20 calories for a 1/4 cup. WHERE ARE THOSE EXTRA CALORIES AND FAT?

I guess subway is not so healthy after all

  2. first of all, poor chickens.  look into factory farms and going veg. it's a great, healthy lifestyle/diet.  my wife went vegan and barely has to watch what she eats anymore and looks amazing.

second, buffalo sauce is hot sauce and butter/margarine mixed together.  it's the butter that is so fattening.

sorry about #1, have to throw a plug in.  www.meat.org, you'll never want to eat meat again if you watch that video.....

  3. they cant be using just franks red hot as good as that sounds they have to be cutting it with something.

  4. It may be the sauce, It could be the way they cook the chicken. I would ask a subway employee.

  5. because it is made of buffalo!duh

  6. the red hot sauce is usually mixed with melted butter to make wing sauce. thats why its so fatty, and so d**n good!

  7. Blue cheese.... if they put that with the buffalo sauce to cool it down. that stuff is loaded with fat!

ask your SW if it has blue cheese dressing on it.

  8. it could be how they cook ceratain foods on that sub, or what they cook it in.

  9. get a veggie!!!! YUMMMY

  10. when you put all those ingredients together, it quadruples the calories, and makes you gain 7953 lbs.

    sorry buddy.

    someone should've warned you.

  11. they lie

buffalo chicken is greasy and high fat

    some protein too

  12. Ewwww..that sounds gross

  13. Well if you've ever looked a subway napkin and compared it to the big macs calories on it, you'll notice that if you get your sandwiches with cheese, and a footlong, the calories in a subway sandwich are comparable to that of a big mac
