Is this a true fact that you are stating ?  Any signs can get cancer otherwise, all the Cancers in the world would die of Cancer if I follow your thinking.

On another note, Cancer is a generic term for malignant neoplasms. Are you talking about b*****s cancer. Cancer rules the breast. How about skin cancer ?

Cancer wasn't always the Crab but won't go into the details here. It represents the principle of tenacity and the growth of the soul through the sustaining efforts of  the life-forces. When a crab holds on to something with its claw one has to cut off the limb in order to rerieve the grasped object.

Cancer depicts fertilization, the merger of male sperm with the female ovum. As mentioned, it represents the breast shown by two smaller circles attached to  a semicircle. Ont is turned upward, the other faces down.

We find a certain dualism in the Crab's character. On the one claw, they are extremely generous with their feelings but on the other, they are constantly plotting to possess the object of their generosity.

All this to tell you that CANCER is not named after the sign Cancer. No relation. The sign has been around longer than the actual disease if you research it .
