  1. well..when i watch NBC commentary it is SO NEGATIVE but they're trying to support the USA all the time so w/e.

  2. It's only NBC who has negative comments, which is a shame that they have to ruin it for all thier viewers, all of the rest of the countries have pretty good commentators.

I watch CBC ( the canadians channel) its much better

  3. I agree! The woman who commentates for diving will pick out the tiniest little thing and seems quite negative. Can't she just say "What a beautiful dive! There may be a few deductions, but she/he really tried hard"?

  4. The NBC commentators are very negative. I've stuck to watching CBC mostly.

  5. Well I don't hear negative commenter's anymore on NBC

Tim Daggett finally got himself together and stopped talking about Americans

BUT that woman commenter for diving still continues to praise the Chinese.

  6. because the commentators are americans

closed-minded & knowing nothing about the world they live in

  7. In England, the commentary is actually very positive.

  8. probably in an attempt to spark controversy thus driving up their rating.

  9. I've noticed stupid more than negative.   During both men's and women's triathlon, one or both commentators pronounced the name of the sport tri-ath-a-lon, with the extra, non-existent "a".   Almost as annoying as our dear President's pronunciation of "nuclear" with an extra "u".
