Why is the comp so inconsistent nowadays?

Anyone else remember maybe 5-10 years ago, you would have the top teams going through a whole season losing only 2 or 3 games. Nowadays the top teams a succumbing to the minnows and its usually a miracle if the team that comes first in the comp manages to lose 8 games or less throughout the whole season. Even yesterday i saw my beloved Broncos lose(pretty pathetically).

I BLAME THE SALARY CAP GET RID OF THE ******* THING!!!(or at least raise it)

The season is way too long players suffer from burn out and fatigue and injuries and key injuries that can destroy a team.If you add full season semis rep games pre season thats 1 h**l of along comp for a contact sport.

The comp is so inconsistent because it is so even nowadays. The salary cap is doing its job, although it should be raised to $5m rather than $4 m.

It is better than having the same teams win every year.

By the way, didn't the Storm only lose three matches in the season as recently as last year?

i reckon the competition ladder is so close its ridiculous there are no the only teams consistantley winning is storm and seagles

Do you think it's inconsistent or that the difference between the sides is not as much and so any any one day either team could win.  The salary cap will even things out.  I can remember the days when there wasn't a salary cap.  The same old teams cropped up year after year and the teams at the bottom struggled to exist.

I have never seen a broncos side be so soft then wat they have been in the last weeks. They need a good fu.kin talkin 2.

Whats the ponit of brining up so many good young players when the salay cap forces the club 2 let the players go else where after there 1st yr in 1st grd, its a digrace
