I'm sick of hearing this question, but honestly is it because John Motson has stopped commentating and nobody else will do it? Or is it money, as usual?

  1. Probably because they're just not good enough! It's on Sentanta though...

  2. Discrimination against the English.

  3. it's not on the bbc because they lost the rights to show england matches to setanta and itv

  4. Nothing to do with the BBC, its the FA that sell the rights and as usual they are just out to grab the money rather then consider the majority of the fans. I usually go to watch live because I like to be punished, LOL. I couldn't go tonight and now can't even watch it on TV. All England games should be on free to view tv, full stop.

Pity football is such a popular game otherwise the same thing would happen that happened to boxing. Boxing was huge, all the English fighters were household names, until they put it on Sky and limited the number of people who could watch it. People lost interest in the sport, and it still hasn't recovered even though they are now putting some fights on ITV. The national team needs all the support it can get, if you stop us watching it, we'll lose even more interest. FA idiots

  5. Because everybody has much more important things to do than to watch England get hammered by the Czech Republic

  6. it would interfere with eastenders

  7. its not on bbc because they spent all their budget on getting the F1 so they couldn't afford the nations most loved sport!

EDIT - @ DAVTHEBEST if you actually read my answer properly then you would see my point wasn't that F1 is less exciting, its that football is more popular and most of the nation will want to watch it, now even more football is on subscription channels and less and less is appearing on freeview channels such as the BBC! oh yeah Hull winning their opening game was real predictable!

Right so F1 is unpredictable? lets see, cars drive round the track loads of times, a few c**k up and don't finish and the same few drivers get a podium finish unless one of them makes a mistake! just face it, it is just as predictable as every other sport, the rich will win because they can afford to make the best cars, just look at Alonso last year he was challenging for the title this year he moves to a team with less money and he can't compete and before you argue he said that himself on a number of occasions!

  8. is that right no more football on bbc, hooray to that,  as you can see i don't follow football.

  9. because the true punditry told the nation the truth about Englands performances and the must not say the truth F.A. handed over the rights to ITV AND SETANTA SPORTS.AND ALSO THERE ARE COMMERCIALS.

  10. because sky and setanta bought the rights to show them

there will be some england games and the world cup will always be on bbc and itv because it is a protected event

F1 is unpredictable and exciting. Football is a loads of overpaid poofs running round and falling over whenever someone comes near their hair
