Why is the flag of st Georges never flown in England?

i know were in the united kingdom but why are the english looked down upon if they fly the flag of england in england.

scotland ,wales and northern island fly there own flags all the time why can we only fly ours on st georges day.

  1. I believe it to be for 2 reasons.

    First of all, Apathy, the English aren't are particulary interested in their national identity.

    Secondly, there is this myth, this untruth that people think that they will be called racist for doing so.  It's not true but many people think it to be the case.


  2. There is one flown almost everyday in the village where I live in West Yorkshire...

  3. Nobody gives one - I do but I mean other people that I know couldn't give a d**n.

    Also, in places like Birmingham, you won't see it due to the rocketing amount of Polish and Indian people who now live in the city. - they will fly there native flags

  4. I don't need to- everyone around me is well aware I live in England, seeing as they live there too...
