  1. Some of these answers are interesting.  Some of these folks have no idea that we can check a search engine and find out what the story is.

The Fence is being used to keep the bad guys out and it is working very well.  People are still crossing but in areas where the fence is not up yet.

Narcotics are coming over, but the flow is way, way down.  I want to point out that the flow of Narcotics is into the Barrio.. not Beverly Hills and while some don't care, I want the Hispanic Youth to live to see anther day.  Put dope in the Barrio and they will simply go to jail, and destroy their future.

When the real I.D. comes on line, if the rouge states are ever brought to their senses, the influx of illegal aliens will fall a very great deal.  When that happens, the only people trying to get in will be running from the Federal Police, or trying to get narcotics in.  We really need the rest of that fence because it funnels the bad guys, and those are the places we need the Bradly's.

  2. I DON'T KNOW I WAS WONDERING THE SAME THING

  3. To keep citizens in so they can't take off when we invade Iran and military service becomes mandatory for everyone.

    McCain 08 for mandatory service!

  4. You mistake fear for disgust.

We need a fence for the same reason a house with rodents needs a cat.

Mexicans can't seem to stay on their side of the border

  5. Mexico doesn't respect the US sovereignty.  Weather or not we should allow more immigrants in legally is another issue all together that I could support.

I'm down for comprehensive reform but as far as I'm concerned the illegals have forfeited any right to citizenship.  So Amnesty should not be an acceptable option on the table.  We tried it once already and it made the problem worse.

  6. The fence is to keep illegal criminal aliens out, not people legally entering the country.

Fear has nothing to do with it.

  7. It's propaganda to make us all get "chipped" by making up a threat so we will give up our right to privacy. see antichips.com

  8. Good fences make good neighbors.

  9. A fence won't stop the illegal immigration and the drugs flowing over the border. It would be better to station the national guard on the border. s***w whether Mexico or Canada likes it or not. Our national security is being breached and sovereignty being threatened.

Why should the American citizens have their rights erroded and privacy invaded for this fictitious War on Terrorism and illegal immigration problem to appease Mexico and Canada over us putting our troops at the borders?

Looks to me like the American people are already being sold out for the Security and Prosperity Partnership.

  10. The Great Wall Of China did not keep the Mongols out, and the Great Wall Of the U.S.A. will not keep the Mexicans out. It may slow them down for a while, but they will be back.

  11. to keep the trash out

    deportation for all illegal aliens!!!!

  12. America is getting diluted.

  13. its not fear, its keeping the trash out

  14. We're not afraid,much like mexico,we don't want their people either.

  15. If people kept coming into your house and stealing your things, killing members of your family, trashing your house, etc. would you lock the door or continue to leave it open? Same principal!

  16. It's to keep the trash North of Boarder in.......Mexico should do the same to keep out murdering, crime commiting Americans out. As far as the drugs are concerned that's called supply and demand. Don't ask for the drugs and they won't get shipped.......

  17. Actually, that fence is nowhere near as contiguous as the great wall of China. It was a political placation to the ultra conservatives so that they could pass the bill that will loosen the border controls.
