I dont know anything about ur broadcast signal question but i can tell u theres something sinister going on. Im not an American, but ive been doing a lot of research on the Internet on Bush, 9/11 etc and the info i have read will blow u away.  U know how u can watch videos on google? well google Martial Law: rise of the police state. Its an Alex Jones made film, he is a bit extreme with some of his Ideas but it will give u an idea what is happening. Its 3 hours long so its a fair length. but well worth watching, if 3 hours maybe too long check out loose change 2nd edition. Bush has pretty much pissed all over the american bill of rights using 9/11 as an excuse to desrtroy ur libertys, and believe it or not, if u look at the facts with an open mind, an idiot could realise 9/11 was an inside job, its staring everyone in the face. The amercian media is so biased its unbelievable, u americans are victims of bushes propaganda machine. Please check this documentrys out and persivere through it, theres some dynamite facts in it. The government is not making it illegal.  Instead of the old outdated analog signal people have found the digital signal much stronger and clearer.  The digital boxes you can purchase, gives me over 25 channels of clear HD resolution and only with the box and my rabbit ears.  With the government coupon of $40.00 off the box only cost me $15.00.  It is well worth it.  It is like having cable or dish TV without the monthly cost.  I receive 3-OETA/PBS stations, several christian stations, 2-24 hour weather channels and 4- channel 62s, plus many more. The old analog signal is being phased out for better reception.  There is no camera.  No one can see you.

There is no secret. Pirate TV can cause power outages as well as pirate radio stations.

Quit being paranoid. No one is out to decieve you.

Not just TV, they will license the microwave and your computer router.  Likely it will be a one time fee at purchase.

However, obviously it is the information airwaves that are of the most concern.

OK, maybe I'M reading the question wrong.  Are you talking about the bill passed so all airwaves have to be licensed and will be sold to the highest bidder so funded interests will have a monopoly on the entire broadcast spectrum, or something different?

They're not making it illegal to broadcast TV signals. They're forcing all major broadcasters to switch to digital signals, which take up less space on the EM wave spectrum and will free up various frequencies to be used for other public services, one of which could eventually be free public WiFi.

It's not illegal to broadcast TV signals, but you have to have a license to do it. There is a limited amount of bandwidth in a any given area. If it wasn't regulated it would be impossible to create reliable TV stations. Broadcasting radio signals has been regulated for nearly a century and for d**n good reasons.
