Why is the headlight on my new Honda Rebel loose and/or making noise? How can I fix it?

  1. There should be a ring around the front portion or your head light held on by philip head screws.Remove the screws and the light will drop out.You will need to shim the ring with thin weather striping or other material to take up the slack.

  3. This is somewhat of a common problem. I found on one of the Honda Rebel 250 sites a fix. You need to take the headlight out and use three Styrofoam blocks behind the head light. the best type is from packing that is used for a printer or something like that. You need to cut them to be a little tight but not real tight, when you put your headlight back in. My 2004 Rebel had this problem.Please URL below
