Why is the heavyweight division so bad? i watched that farce with toney recently!?

man, these punks are slow and move around the ring like old ladies!! are there any good heavyweights left? and please don;t mention the russian! he, too, is slow a nd clumsy!!

I really think it's because "Big Guys" now a days are playing other sports especially in America. Boxing Gyms are so hard to find most of them being closed down in comparason to a football field or basketball court espically in Chicago where i live. The next great hevyweight Champion is probably playing NCAA football or Power Forward for the New York Knicks.

The real reason why the heavyweight division is diminishing is because of the lack of quality fighters within the division, promoters like bob arum and don king have not helped and the WBA, WBC, and IBF have made matters worst as far as ranked legitimate heavyweights go. long gone are heavyweights such as eddie machen, zora folley, cleveland williams, george chuvalo, oscar bonavena, jerry quarry, ron lyle, earnie shavers, james tillis, ken norton, mike weaver, michael dokes, pinklon thomas, etc. today heavyweights such as wladimir klitschko and samuel peters are consider the best of a bad lot of heavyweights, just like marvin hart and jack root back in 1905 after the retirement of james j. jeffries !!!

mike tyson was a knock out artist ,he was fast,impresive fighter(people loved him) and he had a killer instict no doubt !mohamed ali well what can i say for him, he was a genius of boxing!rocky marciano heart like nobody else and punched like a bull!ok i dunno if any of yall have ever been fighters or whatever, but if someone has really fight IN A RING he should consider some stuff!listen i am not saying eastern euros are natural better or better fighters, h**l no ,but the truth is (as blacks have an extra muscle in legs and they naturally faster in sprint track events)these people from caucasus (all ex ussr countries and some of scandinavia) are for some reason (ask God) naturally build bigger and they must be stronger naturally ,cause these  guys ( i am greek and italian i am not one of them, i am medditeranean,but i am just being fair) they win 90% of wrestling events in olympics,90% of strong man competition and 90% of weightlifting CHECK FOR UR SELVES IN OLYMPIC DATABASE IF I LIE!so now what i am saying is these guys they became pro only the last 10 years and they have conquer hw why???let me tell u without anger what i believe !did the entrance of these people made hw boxing boring??h**l YEAH !Did their entrance changed the face of hw boxing ?h**l YEAH!

ARE U 100% SURE  Ali could beat valuev in a match???I AM NOT, I AM SORRY  and u know why i give u this answer??i have give 91 matches in my life 1 of the 6 losses i had, was from a  guy NOT SKILLS, NOT SPEED, NOT NOTHING, BUT HE WAS 6'8, 270 POUNDS and i was at the time 6'0 and 200 pounds(an open weight tournament) i lost via ko at 3rd round (from 5 rounds), when i got the paper of the match i was ahead 13-2 (CAN U BELIEVE THIS **** HUGE GAP OF DIFFERENCE) but when this monster hit me (i did not see this punch was coming from the left i had some problems with my eye) i thought a truck car with a glove in front was hitting me!i mean if someone of u has really fight in a ring ,he will know what i mean!the rest will never understand is ok!

so what i am saying is yeah the hw is boring yeah i agree!there is no mike tyson or ali or marciano who were knockout artists fast and furious exciting fighters BUT GUYS TRUST ME IS NOT EASY TO BEAT THESE BORING GUYS TRUST ME IS NOT!THEY R BORING h**l YEAH (they look even more boring from tv)BUT get in the ring and go beat them! look valuev with this chin and this beast power how can u knock this bear out??yall think it would be easy for ali??I DOUBT IT TRUST ME!so is not the hw so bad yall think  is just that the standards have change really lately  and the face of hw boxing is based in power and size more now than before and yeah is way more boring than before!
