Why is the jets supposed to be amazing all of a sudden and bills still gonna suck???

Question

why do people think the jets are going to win the super bowl just because of farve???? hes good but not THAT good and why do ppl think the bills will suck? i mean last year a lot of their games were lost by a last minute field goal.. seriously tho..

The Jets could have finally found the missing puzzle piece in their offense. Jerricho Cotchery and Laveranues Coles are good receivers, and now they have a QB who can spread the ball around. They have a good defense that is let down by the corners. They are serious playoff contenders.

Don't forget that they were a playoff team 2 years ago, going 10-6. They could easily do that again, as they have made some very good additions in the off season, and I like the rookie TE Dustin Keller to have a good year.

ok the jets have a good recieving corps with cotchery, and coles, a good running game with jones, a good Offensive line, ok tight ends, and a great QB with favre, and an alright defense, they wont make the playoffs but will be10-6 or 9-7

the bills have marshawn lynch, and lee evans, lets face it, they suck, and with a strong afc, they wont make the playoffs anytime soon, as well as finish above .500 oh yea and whos is their QB? Losman or wat ever, kinda sounds like grossman,

Teams that make it to the playoffs have a good or great QB or a Great Defense.... and the Bills have neither... GO BEARS EVEN THO THEY SUCK!!1

They don't necessarily think the Jets will go to the superbowl because of Favre- its just that the Jets were actually a pretty good team as it was, all they needed was a steady quarterback with the ability to win games and push the franchise through the tough ones. Brett Favre brings something that Pennington couldn't- excitement, and yes, a gun for an arm. On the other note, the bills will just always suck.

Im with ya on the Favre thing.. ppl are crowning them 19-0 Super Bowl Champs just b/c Favre is with them...I personally think the Jets will go 9-7 or 10-6... that Division(afc east) is still going to be owned by the Pats

its just the opposite in my book i think the jets will still go maybe 7-9 only because farve is getting old and learning how to cope with new players in your 18th year of football will not be easy he will s***w up somewhere and everyone will be saying brett who???

on the bills side they have a new hope in my hometown of buffalo and that is that the bills will make the playoffs, and if they don't mark my words say bye bye to d**k jauron. yes you may think this is a bias statement but seriously how many games in the past 2 years have the bills lost by only 1 possesion way to many.

last year the bill lost week one by a last second field goal lost to the cowgirls because we didnt want to run out the clock and give them them the ball with 1:50 to go in the game

i believe this year the bills will be on the winning side of those games and go atleast 10-6 and make the playoffs.

Because the Jets' biggest weakness was their QBs.

They have a new set of DLs for their hybrid 3-4 defense.  Gholston is going to take a few weeks to get going, but he will be a monster by the end of the season - he will need to be doubleteamed.  Reevis is going to become a shutdown CB.  Rhodes is a future pro bowl S.

Their OL is going to kick *** with the addition of Faneca.  Jones had injuries last year, but got better at the end of the year (he ran for +100 yds against the #1 steelers defense).  Coles is one of the quickest WRs in the league, and Cotchery is a great #2 and a great slot on 3rd downs.  They drafted a great TE and signed Franks to help block.

Miller was hurt all last year (remember he was a pro bowl KR 2 years ago?).

Before Favre, they would have won 7 or 8 games - with Favre, they can now possibly win 10 or 11 games.

LOL@Jets going 19-0. What lunatic told you that silly prediction? I have been a Favre fan since I was a wee lad and now I follow the Jets, but come on, 19-0? pfft. I predict they go 10-6 MAYBE. As for the Bills, who knows? They could go 9-7 or 10-6 around there somewhere.
