How much fair can you get when everyone can see the crime on video tape?

It's a subjective matter.  The reason why the judge ordered a gag order and the DA says they won't get a fair trial is because by releasing the videotape to the public, more people are most likely going to be inflamed by it, and the judge may feel that he has a reputation to protect.
