  1. Every media in the world tends to be biased in favor of what they perceive is in the best interest of their company and their sphere. I would recommend checkout the following media and then countercheck them with what the other side has to day.

First read: CNN, Fox, Yahoo News, MSNBC, etc.

Then check others such as: globalresearch.ca, presstv.com, spiderednews.com, inforwars.com, etc.

  2. Not according to the US, which is a staunch ally of Georgia and sees their entry into South Ossetia as a way to unify Georgia and protect it from Russia. But it depends on your point of view.

Either way, however, the fact that Georgia has offered a ceasefire and Russia has responded by bombing civilians can only worsen Russia's relationship with the world. It is clear they are not only trying to discourage Georgia but punish them, and their disproportionate military attacks make them look like the aggressor.

I've been following the developments at www.newser.com

  3. I encourage everyone to read this article: http://www.antiwar.com/justin/?articleid...

  4. That's because you live in the USA, here in Italy although slightly biased to the US, it is much clearer as to the fact that Georgia is in fact the aggressor in this!

WARNING there is Hype about and this will (if you are not careful) lead to WW3!!!!

The only solution here is for Georgia to Stop playing silly Games and trying to get the USA and NATO (what will be let of it, after this!!) into a new world wide conflict!!!

The Georgians started this!! and should be left to sort it out! It is not our problem! believe me!

EDIT if you wish to have another point of view of the events try this link ;-))

  5. Russia sent "peacekeepers" to occupy a portion of Georgia known as South Ossetia.  They provoked Georgia for over a year with violations of Georgian airspace, missiles launched into Georgia and on August Sixth the South Ossetians destoryed a Georgian armored personell carrier and killed several Georgian troops.  Georgia was pushed too far and tried to reclaim it's territory.  Russia is to blame.

  6. Dude, don't act like Russia is the innocent  and decent bystander in this conflict. Russia has been a participant all the time, one side in this bloody mess.

Russians have always had trouble seeing anything wrong in any of their actions. They always see themselves as The Pure White Innocent Peace Doves Saving Humanity From Evil (usually from The Evil West).

Russians are very much like Americans (see the irony of this!): they bomb the **** out of everyone with their right hand, while blinding themselves with their left hand (see no evil, hear no evil etc.), and then they complain and whine that "everyone hates them". Well, duh.

Double-standards, as all big nations have. One standard for all other people and a whole other standard for themselves.

Get real. Don't be so bloody naive or blinded by ideology. in geopolitics, there are no good guys. Everyone - including Russia - is rotten to the core.

  7. Media prepares your brain for something. It's an instrument. Think more and you'll be ready when they(media or government) will try to trick.

  8. Because Russia is to blame, DUH.

I bet you're a Buttock Obama supporter and a child.

  9. Do you really think that we are going to believe what Russia says about this when they have never been forth right about what happens in Russia or the surrounding areas.  Even if this was true so you say the Georgia's what makes it any more right for them to bomb and kill innocent people. Georgia is a small country and no match for Russia but Russia keeps the bombing going.

  10. hmmm, i always like your point of veiw of things but sometimes it can hurt.

What do you think we should do?

Why is it our fault that stupid george bush can punish all of the u.s.a. citzens by calling our kids fat or not accepting people for who they really are?

it's so stupid. Why can he be the king of the stupid world Why does HE get to CHOSE who gets to go to the stupid IRAQ war when WE have people right here in PAIN and SUFFERING.

s***w the whole world whenever he gets out of office cause it might change for the better.

    i'm sorry...

yeah georgia is to blame but we think we can pick and choose who deserves to be the winner or the loser.

i know i sound like a total hippie but s***w the wars why can't we just have peace?

  11. We're still sorting this one out. The truth about these things usually takes some time to trickle down to the masses. I am suspending my judgement until the outcome becomes apparent, then I will look at who benefits, and weigh all available info.

One thing's certain: we won't hear the whole story from the CFR-controlled mass media beast.

  12. You can't rely on the mainstream media for any truth regarding this situation.

  13. Because the Media is in it to make money. More stories more viewership.
