  1. I would really like to know where your getting your info?? It is a crisis or haven't you heard about fannie mae and freddie mac??

  2. I think the media is a powerhouse because they can sway people in any direction they want. However, there is a serious crisis going on right now. (I live in Vegas and this place is tops for foreclosures) People signed a lot of bad deals with no money down, and the home builders here couldn't build the houses fast enough. People are upside down in their houses! It is a crisis, 5,000 people in NV lose their homes every month!!

  3. You are clueless. This is a disaster

  4. Have you driven around your neighborhood lately and seen all the for sale signs and empty homes? STOP shat you're doing and go check it out. There is a crisis and you should be thankful you or somone you loveis not in the thick of it.

  5. We're in better shape than they make it out to be?

Do you realize how many people are losing their houses? Because the lending companies approved loans to people who aren't making enough money to pay their loans.

And because of the unemployment rate?

Another reason they are talking about it so much... is probably to take the minds off of other things that are going on that would upset the people.

  6. Rita,

The people who took those loans that were offerend to them are even more resposible for their positions then the lending companies.  Do you go on a road trip without first consulting a map?  Do you take a test without first studying the material?  It is the same with mortgages.  If the people looking for a loan would have done their research, they would not have overborrowed.  I do not feel sorry for any of them.  Answers like yours just tick me off.

Our society has done away with personal responsibility.
