  1. Do you really think that what the Russian media reports is truth and what CNN reports is biased? Seriously?

Its ALL biased. Always has been, always will be.

Both sides are trying to sway opinions in their favor, not just CNN/US news channels. Russia has interest in their citizens being in favor of their military actions there and US has interests in their citizens being against it. What we see on the news is based on the info that is given by our governments and influenced by our national interests/opinions/prejudices.

What exactly do you mean by 'here is what REALLY happened'? Is that what 'REALLY happened' according to the Russian TV news stations? If so, then you've been tricked too I think:)

  2. When the USSR broke up all former soviet citizens were offered Russian passports. Ever since the break up both south ossetia and abkhazia have been de facto independant states, i.e. technically georgian territory but they don't really control it due to rebel groups.

Russia has probably been funding and supplying rebel groups for a while, and even had peacekeepers in south ossetia. The rebels had been attacking georgian forces for a while and the other day the georgians hit back and invaded south ossetia, in response russia invaded south ossetia as well.

Georgia has taken every effort it can to alienate Russia and align itself with Russia's rivals, so it's hardly surprising Russia has been a bad neighbor to them. The situation is analagous to the USA and Cuba: if you're a tiny state and you live next door to a powerful state, you would be well-advised to keep on good terms with your neighbor.

tl;dr Georgia has been playing with fire and now they've gotten burnt

  4. CNN BBC and Fox are news w***e, puppet of their master. They are free to edit, cut, smear, troll and fabricate news!

  5. they want to put a american spin on it.

  6. here you go I 100% agree with you!... I keep pasting this info on all Georgia/Russia related conflict stories... to help remove the "dis-info" of our US media and get people to start jogging their own brains and researching things for themselves! if you need to use the links to show people where to look, go for it!

The conflict definitely looks to be US and Israeli inspired.

The creation of the conflict in Georgia is intended to block Russia from materially supporting IRAN during the impending invasion.

Israeli military advisors were involved with the Georgian offensive against South Ossetia {pop 70,000}.

On 14th July Georgian & US troops started a joint military exercise.

The OSSETIANS speak ossetic, an Iranian language. They're descended from Iranian tribes of Eurasia.

They became CHRISTIANS during the early middle ages.

From 1922 Ossetia was part of the USSR.

Many of them would have Russian passports. Unlike Kosovo, the US will not support an independent South Ossetia.

That's the reason why the US media is so biased on this issue !!
