Why is the media trying so hard to destroy Palin?

I mean they are publishing obscure letters written by a voter registrar from the city she was Mayor of as news.

While not even mentioning her 80% approval rating as Governor.

Is this not unprecedented?

Sarah Palin is a conservative.  She and McCain care little about liberal media and what they think.  She's a Washington outsider.  She doesn't go to all "in parties."  She's a reformer.  She represents a very real threat to the media that certainly seems to have their way with Pelosi & Reids congress.  The media seems to be very offended.

THey are NOT TRYING to destroy her, and many were gushing over her speech last night.

The press is trying to learn more about her, not just what gets put out by the McCain campaign.  It is their job.

Oh, and I think the more recent approval rating is somewhat lower than 80...

Stop believing McCain's and Palin's LIES.

McCain didn't vet her properly.  And Palin is lying about her achievements.

So when the media goes out to vet her properly, McCain and Palin are crying foul play.

So they attack the media as a smokescreen to keep them from learning the truth about Palin.

You need to ask yourself:  Why isn't Palin giving interviews with only 67 days away from the general election.

It is because she has a lot of things to hide.

Did you know that over half of the Republican delegates didn't show up for the convention?

She's a joke, a throw-in-the-towel choice. McCain, for some reason, is throwing the election, perhaps because he's dying, perhaps because he's mad he couldn't pick Lieberman, mad, mad, mad. They ought to dig deeper, and print every little detail, that will show how well,or how little McCain vetted his running mate.The country has a right to know what kind of people are running for president, or vice president.
